Bio

I'm a cartoonist who grew up in New Orleans inspired by numerous comic strip paperbacks purchased at K&B drugstores. I draw 2 strips, "Mumbeaux Gumbo" and "Qomix", which are published monthly in 2 separate New Orleans periodicals. I reformat the strips into little micro-comix which are sold in capsule vending machines as well as hand-assembled small packages by myself in such shapes as pyramids, cigarette packs, micro-buses, t.v. sets and robots. I also like to give out special edition micro-comix to folks when out costuming during Mardi Gras. I'm also one of the founding cartoonists of the underground jam comic book "dafa FUNGUS" which has been going on since 1998. I presently live in the sleepy little river hamlet of Reserve,LA where I reside in my Jigsaw Jct studio/archive but make it into town on wed evenings for the dafa drawing sessions.
